Who we are
This Privacy Policy explains how EcomDrama (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses, and protects your personal data when you visit ecomdrama.com or purchase one of our WooCommerce plugins (Side Cart, Progressive Discount, Smart Cross Sell) and related licenses.
Our website is operated by Strive Sport LTD, registered in Bulgaria. If you have questions about this policy or your personal data, you can reach us at support@ecomdrama.com.
What personal data we collect
Checkout and account information
When you buy a license, we ask for the minimum information needed to process your order and deliver your license: your first and last name, email address, and country. If you create an account, this information is stored so you can log in later to view your orders, downloads, and license keys under My Account.
Company invoice details (optional)
If you tick “I need a company invoice” at checkout, we additionally collect your company name, country, address, and VAT number. This information is used only to generate your invoice or credit note and is stored as part of your order.
Order and payment information
We keep a record of your orders (products purchased, price, order status, and date) through WooCommerce. Payments are processed by Stripe; we never see or store your full card number. Stripe processes your payment details directly and shares with us only what is needed to confirm and fulfil your order, such as the payment status and a masked card summary.
License and activation data
Once an order is paid, we generate a license key linked to your email address, the product and plan purchased, and the order. When you activate a license inside one of our plugins, we also record the site domain and URL where it was activated, along with the plugin version, so we can enforce your activation limit and provide updates and support.
Marketing communications
If you subscribe to our newsletter, request a free trial, or opt in during checkout, your email address is added to our mailing list, managed through Brevo (Sendinblue). We use this to send product updates, promotional offers, and onboarding emails. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email we send.
Cookies
Like most websites, we use cookies for essential functions such as keeping items in your cart, remembering your session while you check out, and keeping you logged in to My Account. We also use a cookie consent banner so you can choose which non-essential cookies to allow. See the “Cookies” section below for more detail.
How we use your data
We use the personal data described above to:
- Process and fulfil your orders, and generate your license keys and invoices
- Provide access to your purchased plugins, updates, and support
- Communicate with you about your order, account, or license
- Send marketing emails, where you have opted in, and improve our email campaigns
- Prevent fraud, abuse, and license misuse
- Comply with our legal and tax obligations (for example, issuing invoices)
Who we share your data with
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with the service providers that help us run our store and deliver your purchase:
- Stripe – to securely process card payments
- Brevo (Sendinblue) – to send transactional and marketing emails
- Our hosting provider – to store the website, its database, and any generated invoice PDFs
These providers only receive the data they need to perform their service for us and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes.
How long we keep your data
We keep order, invoice, and license records for as long as your account is active and afterwards for as long as required by applicable tax and accounting law. If you ask us to delete your account, we will remove or anonymize your personal data except where we are legally required to keep financial records (such as invoices).
Cookies
We use the following types of cookies:
- Strictly necessary cookies – used by WooCommerce to manage your cart and checkout session, and by WordPress to keep you logged in. These cannot be switched off.
- Preference cookies – remember your cookie consent choices.
You can manage or withdraw your cookie consent at any time using the cookie settings banner shown on our site, or by adjusting your browser settings to block or delete cookies.
Your data protection rights
If you are located in the European Economic Area, you have the right to:
- Request access to the personal data we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate personal data
- Request deletion of your personal data, subject to our legal retention obligations
- Object to or restrict certain processing, including marketing emails

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at privacy@ecomdrama.com. From your My Account page, you can also view, export, or request erasure of your data directly through WordPress’s built-in privacy tools.
Data security
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data, including encrypted (HTTPS) connections and never storing full payment card details on our own servers. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children’s privacy
Our products and services are intended for businesses and professionals. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 16.
