The Cross Sell tab controls the “you may also like” block Side Cart can show inside the drawer. This is Side Cart’s own lightweight product resolver — it is intentionally independent from the separate Smart Cross Sell plugin and does not share its bundle-resolution logic.
Title and description
You may also like
Enter subtitle
Change the Title if “You may also like” doesn’t fit your store’s voice — leaving it empty keeps the default. The Description is an optional short line under the title, useful for a quick nudge like “Frequently bought together”.
Choosing products
Product source
The source of the products to display in the cross sell section. Pick where candidate products come from — hand-picked specific products, a whole category, or everything under a tag.
Products, in the order they appear
Only shown when Product source is set to Specific products — add products up to your Maximum products limit and drag them into the order you want them to appear in.
Maximum products
Side Cart’s drawer is a narrow space — 4 is the ceiling. More cards than that would need scrolling or shrink each one too much to read.
Exclude products already in cart
Excludes products that are already in the cart from the cross sell section, so the block never suggests something a shopper has already added.
Exclude out of stock
Excludes products that are out of stock from the cross sell section, so the block never recommends something a shopper can’t actually buy right now.
Product order
Manual reordering uses the picker list above (drag to reorder). Leave this on Default to follow Side Cart’s own resolver logic instead.
Layout and card elements
Display layout
How the products are displayed in the cross sell section. List stacks them vertically, Slider lets shoppers swipe through them, and Grid shows them side by side — Grid is usually the best fit for narrower drawers.
Product card elements
Rating and short description are off by default — in a narrow drawer they turn a card into a paragraph. Name, Price and Add to cart are always shown and cannot be turned off; Image and Sale price default to on.
