Side Cart replaces the default WooCommerce cart page with a drawer that opens straight from any add-to-cart action, without a page reload.
Requirements
Side Cart requires WooCommerce 6.0 or newer and PHP 7.4 or newer to be active on the site. It will not activate without WooCommerce present.
Activating the plugin
Install and activate Side Cart the same way as any other WordPress plugin, from Plugins → Add New, or by uploading the zip file.
Turning the drawer on
Activation alone does not change anything on the storefront. Open Side Cart and switch on the main Enable toggle. From that point, the drawer opens automatically on add-to-cart across the site.
What happens when it is off
Turning the Enable toggle back off returns the store to stock WooCommerce cart behaviour immediately. Your slot order, styling and cross-sell settings are kept and apply again the next time you turn it back on.
