If Progressive Discount is active alongside Side Cart, the reward ladder it manages can be shown directly inside the drawer, on the Progressive Discount slot.
What you get
The slot reads the same reward ladder and cart context Progressive Discount already calculates, so the numbers a shopper sees in the drawer always match what they see everywhere else in the store.
How the reward shows in the drawer
A percentage or fixed reward is applied as a real discount, spread over the items it applies to, rather than as a separate negative fee. In the drawer it appears as its own row between the Subtotal and the Total, labelled with the Discount Label from Progressive Discount’s settings (“Progressive Discount” if left empty). Shoppers cannot remove it — it is added and removed automatically as they reach each step — and it shows on the order, invoices and refunds like any other discount.
A free gift appears as its own line at no cost, without a quantity stepper or remove button, since Progressive Discount manages it.
If your campaign leaves sale products out and is set to tell shoppers about it, each sale item in the drawer gets a short label under its name — “Not included (sale item)” unless you changed it in the campaign.
When a line in the cart is also discounted (for example a sale price), the “You save … on this order” line under the Total includes the Progressive Discount reward too.
Requirements
Both plugins need to be active, and Progressive Discount needs an active campaign with Show in Cart turned on — the drawer follows the same setting as the Cart page. The slot can be switched on or off from the Slots tab or from the Progressive Discount card on the Integrations tab; both control the same setting.
What happens without Progressive Discount
If Progressive Discount is not active, or has no campaign to show, the slot simply does not render — it fails quietly rather than showing an empty box or an error.
