The General tab’s Cart drawer behaviour section controls how and when the drawer opens.
General options:
AJAX add to cart on product page
WooCommerce only does this automatically for shop/category page buttons — without it, the single product page’s own “Add to cart” reloads the whole page instead of updating the drawer.
Auto-open on add to cart
Slide the drawer open automatically whenever a product is added to the cart.
Show floating trigger button
A persistent cart button shoppers can click to open the drawer at any time.
Trigger position
You can choose the position of the floating trigger button.

Show the number of items in the cart, the total price of the cart, both, or none.

Turning any of these off
Each toggle here is independent — for example, you can keep the floating trigger button on while turning off auto-open, so the drawer only appears when a shopper deliberately clicks the cart icon.
